Notification of Substantial Shareholding

Gasol plc (AIM: GAS), the company formed to capitalise on acquisition and investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector, announces that it received notification on 13 October 2006 that FMR Corp, and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, and Fidelity International Limited (FIL), and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, has a notifiable interest in 8,500,000 ordinary shares of 0.5p in the Company, representing 5.94 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
